Shabby chic isnt so chic anymore Im definitely seeing a more refined look even for casual styles. A good example is Swedish country it has wonderful painted finishes, but they arent all nicked and knocked up. Instead, their finish is smooth and clean. Country French is leaning toward darker woods this season. As are most styles the darker woods are definitely the trend walnut, mahogany, and deeper honey finishes are all the rage. Their rich deep hues are perfect for winter colors.
